Russ Jones has real estate in his blood. His great-uncle and grandfather started building homes in Raleigh in 1918, and then entered the hotel business after meeting Howard Johnson in the 1950s. Russ learned the real estate business from his father and grandfather and today serves as president of Davidson & Jones Corporation.

Russ began his career in finance working with Ernst & Young before entering the real estate business. He has extensive experience developing and managing hotel properties, including the Aloft hotel that he recently completed in downtown Durham at American Tobacco, the Marriott Courtyard at Triangle Town Center, and a boutique hotel in Los Cabos, Mexico. His firm continues to manage the Sheraton Imperial hotel that was developed and built by Davidson & Jones in 1986.  Russ is an active member in the community and serves as President of the Raleigh-Durham Chapter of Entrepreneur's Organization, is co-owner of the wellness company EVOLVE Movement, and serves as a board member of Triangle Family Services and Camp Challenge.

With a background in engineering and then a brief stop as a practicing corporate attorney, Henry Ward managed to find his true passion in commercial real estate and has leased, managed and developed retail and mixed-use projects in the Triangle for the last decade.  Henry’s diverse background of engineering and law uniquely prepares him to tackle complex property challenges that arise in urban and mixed-use settings. As Chief Operating Officer of York Properties, he led development and acquisition efforts in partnership with institutional capital.  His most recent experience includes work with several successful mixed-use projects in downtown Raleigh, including the redevelopment of 111 Seaboard, the acquisition of the Powerhouse Square project and redevelopment plans for the 414 Hillsborough Street block.

Henry is passionate about Raleigh and is very active in the community.  Henry serves on the board of Band Together, a nonprofit organization that uses music to drive social change that has raised over $3.5 million for our community since inception.  Henry is also active as a member of the capital campaign committee for the YMCA and serves on the Leadership Raleigh Alumni Board of Directors.
